What people don’t do to lead a safe and secured life? They install Burglar alarms, fire alarm, microchips to track the lost items and much more…But the prime security starts with the doors of the house. They safe-conduct the direct entry and exit of any unwanted and anti-social being and satisfy the people living in the house with a sense of security.
There are many varieties available as a resource for doors. The doors can be wooden, fiberglass or made up of steel. However, for Wooden Doors, the frame can be hardwood or softwood. The wooden doors help in temperature regulation of the home by controlling the entry and exit of air in the house. The maintenance cost for wooden doors is also not much.
However, external doors are as important as entry doors. They can be classified as plain timber doors and external fire doors. The traditional designs need to be kept separate from the modern designs.
For sustainable wooden doors manufacturing, a strong wooden base needs to be selected. For manufacturing that wooden base, the manufacturing requirements are:
To manufacture Plywood, the manufacturing lines need to have feeding and sorting systems, patching, gluing, press lines, trimming and sanding lines, panel reparation lines, panel coating lines and packaging lines.
When it comes to laminate panels, the lines need to have stacking systems for paper impregnation, kraft paper collation, lay-up & press lines, thin laminate squaring & sanding, compact squaring & trimming, post-forming, packaging, picking & storage.
For a three-layer board & solid-wood, layer-preparation is very important along with lay-up lines. The line also requires press lines, panel reparation lines, square, trimming and panel jointing lines, panel coating and packaging lines.
In light-board and sandwich panels, the frame assembly lines are installed along with board-on frame and stiles lay-up lines in addition to honey-comb lay-up lines, insulating and particle-light lay-up lines ending with press lines and packaging lines.
For particle-board, panel coating & coating what is required is Raw board calibrating lines, short-cycle melamine press lines, panel laminating lines, thin laminate & veneer facing press lines, painting & lacquering and packaging lines.
All these assemblies can be used for door manufacturing.
After manufacturing what is important is the varnish and finishing of the doors. Apart from its regular functioning of protection and safety of the wooden material, they also imparts aesthetics to the doors and make them suitable for any place, it might be a grand compartment or a small household. When the entire varnishing along with painting and coating gets finished, it then comes to the usage of the doors where they need to be placed.
While placement, the door can be attached to the top of:
Any solid opaque block
Upside-down slab or stairs
Slime block, hopper or downward-facing piston
However, by default, the door’s left and right sides should be assigned to hinge and handle of the door respectively.
